Day 2: June 20, 2017
Segundo día!!
We are very tired today! but it was a really really nice day. We visited A LOT of amazing places. First we went to downtown where we visited The Cathedral, The Great Temple and an amazing place called "The Underworld". Unfortunately, National Palace was closed.
After that we went to Basílica de Guadalupe and learned about the story of Juan Diego and the image of one of the most iconic women in Mexico,"La Virgen de Guadalupe".
Later we went to Teotihuacan, the most important prehispanic city of our country. We went all the way up of the Temple of the Sun! It was hard but the view was worth it.
Finally, we had a lovely dinner at The house of the tiles or "Sanborns de los azulejos".
We ate a lot today!!
So that's it for today, tomorrow we're living to the beautiful Veracruz.
