Day 2: August 5, 2008
Arrival was on time, and although we thought we were tired, we realized by 11pm that at 11am we had been fresh as fruit! We were transfered first to our hotel, and to get there we had to in fact lift a small car out of the way of our coach, our first adventure. We didn't hang around our hotel much, but rather headed straight downtown for lunch in the Latin Quarter. We then visited the Orsay Museum of Impressionism, before having a short walking tour of the Latin Quarter and seeing inside Notre Dame Cathedral. After dinner, we went to the Eiffel Tower, all the way to the top, and then on a boat cruise up and down the River Seine! Not a bad first day!
