Day 2: April 18, 2008
HOLA! Everyone has arrived safely! Tonight we took a walk downtown and visited the famous Plaza Mayor. It was the location of many markets, ceremonies, celebrations and bull fights. After that we walked to the center of Spain...KM 0! There is a lot of energy in the city and many people moving all around. We enjoyed walking about and seeing the sights and taking in the smells. Then we had dinner at a nice buffet restaurant and then headed back to the hotel for a good rest! Our hotel is very nice and in a great location just opposite a shopping mall and near the Royal Palace. Maybe the King will invite us in for coffee!
