Eastman Amsterdam & Paris

We all arrived safely in Amsterdam early this morning. The weather was gorgeous. After checking our luggage at the hotel and however jetlagged, we were off for a full morning of cultural visits. We jumped on a tram to the Rijksmuseum: after all, visitors from all over the world come to Amsterdam to admire Dutch painting of the seventeenth century, known as the Golden Age of Holland. After Rembrandt, Vermeer & Frans Hals, we changed centuries with Van Gogh, since we also visited the Van Gogh museum nearby. Then everyone felt like going back to the hotel, check into our rooms, have a quick nap and freshen up in preparation for the evening. We were back in town by late afternoon for an early dinner at the Hard Rock Café: then, tram back to our hotel and we could eventually hit our pillows in our rooms.
