Herzlich Willkommen in Deutschland! Here we are, well landed in Frankfurt, one of the four capitals cities of Europe: the capital of money and home of the European Central Bank. Although pretty tired from our long flight, we had a rather full first day with our drive to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a charming and picturesque medieval town on the “Romantic Road”, famous for its old city walls, for cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses and for world famous Käthe-Wohlfahrt’s Christmas World, an early start into the x-mas season. Then dinner at our “Gasthaus” and “Gute Nacht!“
