Hi! My name is Jude, and I was born in Dublin, Ireland. Throughout my life, I have lived in various places, such as Germany, England, Spain, and America. I currently live in the south of Spain. I have totally embraced the culture here, just as I have done everywhere else I have lived. I speak English, Spanish, and Irish, along with a smattering of other European languages.
I love my home country, but I do prefer a Mediterranean climate! However, I always love going home. I come from a vibrant and historical culture that is integral to me.
I have always loved travelling, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and broadening my horizons. Being open to different things is very important to me.
I studied Marketing and International Languages at college and have worked in various fields, such as The National Gallery of Ireland. I have been an office manager, managed bars and restaurants, and for the last 12 years, I have been an English teacher here in Spain. I have finally found my vocation, as I love teaching and opening people up to new educational concepts!
As an Explorica Tour Director, I can use my previous experience to enhance your travel adventure here in Europe. I know I can make it a memorable, educational, cultural, and, above all, a fun experience. Let´s get started!
