Day 1: June 3, 2021
Welcome to Boston! Once all members of our group arrived, we were off to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market for dinner. There were some New England specialties to try: New England clam chowder, fried clams, lobster rolls, pizza and ice cream. After dinner we strolled through the North End neighborhood, taking in the sights and smells of the many Italian restaurants. The streets were buzzing with alfresco dinners on a warm evening. We walked to the Paul Revere House, Paul Revere Square, the Old North Church and to Copps HIll Burying Ground before stopping in at Mike's Pastry Shop for their classic cannolis. We ended the night with a stroll thorough Boston's Holocaust Memorial and took in the Sam Adam's statue at Faneuil Hall. It was a great kick-off to a fun week ahead.
