Insider's Italy

Day 1: June 14, 2026

Hello everyone! My name is Marina, and I’ll be your Tour Director for our upcoming Italian adventure. I’m currently putting the finishing touches on everything and getting ready to welcome you to beautiful Italy! The photo I’m sharing is from my hometown, Turin, in Northern Italy, where I live with my husband Nicola and our daughter Isabel. When I’m not traveling with groups, I teach Spanish and history. In fact, I hold a PhD in Medieval History, so I absolutely love sharing stories about Italy’s fascinating past and culture. I’m really looking forward to meeting all of you and starting this wonderful journey together. As soon as everyone arrives, we'll head toward the Florence area, the birthplace of the Renaissance and one of the most beautiful regions in Italy.
