This morning we took a trip to the traditional Dutch town of Volendam. We saw a good few dykes before we headed up to the village of Zaanse Schans where we learnt how clogs and cheese was made. There was enough time to try some Dutch cheeses before setting off back to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, there was time for a spot of lunch before a visit to Ann Frank’s house. After that, it was time for dinner. We hopped on the trolley to the restaurant where we were treated to Indonesian food (Indonesia once having been the Dutch East Indies), before heading back to the hotel for our last night in Amsterdam.
