We'll, it was finally time for goodbye as we headed for Dublin airport for the group to catch the first of their two planes home. We took a few photos, I signed a few itineraries and dollar bills and then it was up the stairs to departures, with me wishing all in this bright, friendly and fantastic group a safe journey home, hoping they'll come back and see all the things we didn't quite manage to fit in this time around. As we say in Scotland, "Haste Ye Back".
(I then checked in for my own flight back to Glasgow, only to spend 90 minutes taxi-ing back and forth around the runway with a malfunctioning door on the plane, which meant I wasn't going to make my train connection out to Ardrossan Harbour for the last ferry home - it looked like the group would be back in Missouri before I would be back in Arran, but I risked an expensive taxi ride out to the coast and got there just as the ferry was about to sail, so I got home after all - phew!!!)
Anyway, I've really enjoyed our week and a bit together and hope everyone in the group did too. And that nobody's having dreams about green monkeys!
