Day 1: April 15, 2018
Aloha kākou! This is Uta, your Tour Director for the Hawaiian part of your adventure. You had a loooong day yesterday, after landing in San Francisco, you dove right in, with city tour, Alcatraz, and dinner. I see from your itinerary that you started your day 5:45 am this morning. And that was Pacific time. Which means, in Hawaiian time, which you are on now, you started your day at 2:45 this morning. So, when you arrive, plane running a little late, around 2 pm, i’ll meet you at baggage claim and we’ll race to the hotel, to give you a chance to freshen up and BREATHE. At 4:30 pm we are off to the lu’au, where you will play Hawaiian games, EAT (finally) and dance hula. You will be back in the hotel around 8:30 pm and, after 18 hours SLEEP 💤

Group arrived and we drove first to a food court, because they had “survived” on plane snacks, e g tiny bags of something, for 12 hours. After eating everybody was ready for action and we drove to the windward side to the Lu’au. Students participated in activities and had lots of fun.
