Happy Easter Everyone!!! Today we've left for our next destination: Split. Croatia is set up in two sections, the south which holds Dubrovnik, and the north, where split and Zagreb lie. It is divided by a short strech of land owned by Bosnia and Herzegovina, which allows them to the sea. The group stopped in Neum, Erzehgovina for refreshments and a chance to talk to to the locals. From there we took a direct bus ride to a Split . We had lunch, walked around the the marble paved alely ways,, On our thrid day in Croatia, we visited the retirment palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. We experienced the classical Roman architecture and learned about the Emperor who persecuted christians. We've seen the smallest cathedral in the world San Duje. and some of us went to climb it's bell tower. After seeing these historical land marks some of us have shopped. Our hotel Jadran is located on the edge of the pinewood park front of the small marina port and at the foot of the Mt. Marjan. Years ago this place iwas hosting the Meditteranean Watersport Games.
