Dr. Maddox's Ireland, Scotland and England

May 26, 2019  -  June 7, 2019

We left Ireland on the early ferry this morning and arrived in Wales in the United Kingdom at lunchtime. We made a stop at the place with the longest name in the world, Llanfair PG for short but the full name is in the photo. From here we went to Caernarfon, a medieval walked town for lunch. The town is dominated by the castle where the Princes of Wales are invested. This afternoon we drove through the Snowdonia National Park and made a stop so that the group could climb part of the mountain. Then it was on through Wales and into England for dinner in our hotel just outside Liverpool. Today we eat in three countries; breakfast in Ireland, lunch in Wales and dinner in England. Tomorrow we head to Scotland, our fourth country.
