Day 4: March 25, 2019
After breakfast, we met our driver, Henry and he drove us out of Amsterdam in no time. Then for over 4 hours, we headed with, crossed the Belgian border and eventually arrived in Bastogne. That is where the allies had to fight hard during the battle of the bulge and we went to see the foxholes where the men tried to protect themselves from the enemy and the cold during during this terrible winter 1944. For all the ones who ever watch the show, Band of brothers, it is exactly where it happened toward the last stages of the liberation of Europe. We then visited the museum of War and that was compelling... Sobyoday was a day of history and travelling (!)... we then drove out of Belgium, through Luxemburg, through Germany and ended up in France! To sum up our day: brekkie in Holland, lunch in Belgium and din din in France!!
