Communities of Costa Rica In Depth: Explorica Volu

Hello everyone!!!! This is Pável (I go by Pav), and I will be your Tour Director on your upcoming Explorica tour in Costa Rica. I just thought I would introduce myself and tell you how much I am looking forward to meeting you and leading your Explorica tour. We are so happy you are going to visit us in this beautiful and diverse country in Central America. During our trip, we will have a very nice itinerary, with many cool activities and educational experiences. Some of them would be visiting Los Santos Region and doing some volunteering work and meeting at the same time the local culture and food. We will visit the Tropical Cloud Forest and we will learn about the Coffee growing and local processing. In the Central Pacific Coast, we will see some of the typical surfing towns and beaches of Costa Rica. Also, we will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, one of its kind. The forest in this park is a mix between the Tropical Dry Forest of the north and the Tropical Rain Forest of the south of the Costa Rican Pacific Coast. We will have the chance to spot lots of wildlife, like monkeys, iguanas, coatis, boas, deer and sloth among other and many interesting plants, like mangrove trees and Heliconias. We will experience the Tárcoles River and we will look for Crocodiles there! We are also exploring the South Pacific Coast. We are spending some timethere colunteering and visiting Caño Island. We will have a snokeling tour... During the trip we will have the chance to spot lots of wildlife, like monkeys, iguanas, coatis, boas, deer and sloth among other and many interesting plants, like kapok trees (ceiba), pink trumpet tree (robre de sabana) and Heliconias. Finally, we will have time for shopping, eating Costa Rican food, spending time at the beach and many others, all along with time at leisure to explore Costa Rica the way you prefer.
