Fundraising

Explorica is committed to enriching students through educational travel, and that means helping teachers extend the opportunity to as many students as possible. In addition to offering the guaranteed best prices in educational travel and easy monthly payment plans, we also provide a variety of resources to help you raise funds for your tour.

Personal fundraising pages

We give every paying tour participant their very own fundraising page on explorica.com. The simple, user-friendly interface puts the fun back in fundraising by enabling students to solicit and accept online donations using their favorite social communities. Participants can set their own fundraising goal, write a message about why the trip is important to them, and share their page using built-in sharing functionality.

Group fundraising support

Most groups engage in some form of collective fundraising activity, either to pay for a portion of their tour fees or to defray the costs of optional activities, upgrades or extensions. Fundraising also helps students meet and bond before they depart, while engaging their families and local community in the educational travel experience.

To kick start your fundraising initiatives, we invite you to:

  • Attend a fundraising webinar
  • Connect with an experienced Teacher-to-Teacher mentor
  • Ask your program consultant for a Fundraising Resource Packet, full of great ideas and helpful advice from years of fundraising experience

As with all aspects of travel, it pays to plan ahead. The sooner you begin fundraising, the more time you’ll have to raise the money you need.

Contact us today to let us help you make your fundraising fun, easy, and successful!
