Halifax is the provincial capital of Nova Scotia and a major business center also known for its maritime history. On this guided tour, you’ll visit the breathtaking Halifax Public Gardens which boast ornate fountains, a bandstand, statues, urns and a magnificent wrought iron entrance. Also on this tour, you’ll visit the final resting place of the victims who perished when the RMS Titanic sank in the early morning of 15 April 1912. There will also be plenty of time to explore the bustling Halifax waterfront.

Did you know that Saint John, New Brunswick is Canada’s oldest incorporated city? You’ll learn about the city’s heritage and visit some of its most iconic locations with your tour director. The Saint John City Market, the oldest continuing market in Canada, first opened in 1876 and runs the length of a city block—be sure to look up when you enter the building, the ceiling’s rafters look like a ship’s hull! The Loyalist Burial Ground was established after the landing of the United Empire Loyalists in 1783. It hasn’t been used as a cemetery since 1848, instead, locals stop here to enjoy the beautiful gardens and take a break from the bustling city. In 1849, a post containing three red gas lamps, called the Three Sisters Lamp, visible for three miles seaward, was stationed at the end of Prince William Street. If the three red lamps appeared individually, sailors would know they were heading straight into the harbor, however if only one or two could be seen, sailors knew they needed to alter their course.

Fundy’s wilderness is famous for its rugged cliffs and river valleys. During your time in the park you’ll explore the Dickson Trail, which features one of the most recognizable and photographed waterfall of Fundy National Park.

Walk along Historic Great George Street and enjoy Victoria Park, where visitors often enjoy peaceful walking trails, a beautiful harbor-front boardwalk, colorful displays of flowers and much more.
