Day 2: June 30, 2009
Well it's been a long hot day in London today, but the groups all have more energy than I've ever seen from groups on the first day of a tour before. Although, I'm expecting the tiredness to start to kick in very soon!
The day of course started at the airport, where I met Mr Sornesens group, and Susan and Jon and took them back to the hotel. We then got on the underground to Covent Garden where the group had time to get some snacks, change some money and, of course, do a little shopping!
Meanwhile, Sheridas group and Kirstens group arrived a little later, and were met by Enik, who bought them to the hotel. We all then met together after they'd had a little wander round, and all checked into our rooms at the hotel, which is ideally located, just a short distance from the very centre of London.
We've now all ridden 'the tube' and are all set to meet for a fish and chips dinner at at Piccadilly Circus, then I think it will be bed-time for a lot of people! Can't wait for tomorrow!
