Day 2: June 16, 2009
No less than 5 groups showed up at the Airport to meet this Tour ! It seemed that we had all gathered for a General Assembly of teachers .. We then rallied our hotel, located at Gare de l’Est, in northeast Paris. By early afternoon, we set off for a walking tour around central Paris. We ended up at Notre Dame at about 6 PM, then had dinner in a pizzeria close by, in the Latin Quarter. After dinner, we enjoyed a river cruise on the Seine.
