Day 2: April 17, 2009
Finally we arrived in Spain. When we landed Roberto, our Tour Director, was waiting for us at the terminal. Then we got a coach that took us to the Travelodge Hotel which even though is not right in the city center it is only a short bus or metro ride away. We went to the Prado Museum, one of the best museums in the world. After the tour throughout the old quarter, we went for dinner to a buffet-styl restaurant. We went to a restaurant called Fresco, where everything is freshly made. We had pasta, pizza, salads and so on. Pretty filling. That made the perfect first day in Spain before finally heading to our beds fo face our Madrid and Toledo tour tomorrow.
