Day 2: April 4, 2009
Hello from Athens! Here they are! They arrived safe and are fine, even after a long delay at JFK airport. We first went to the Hotel Palace to leave our luggage and relax a bit by the hotel pool, under the Mediterranean sun.. And from there we left for a walking tour in Athens streets. We went to see the national gards in Constitution sq. (Syndagma in Greek). We also walked in the National parc, in Zapion parc, saw Hadrian's arch and the great temple of Zeus. We even saw Lysycrates' sponsorship monument. After a nice tram drive we went back to the Hotel where we had a nice dinner with fresh vegetables and juicy fruits. We are relaxing now a bit to get all our strength back. We are looking forwards to go and see Acropolis tomorrow. We had a real great time today. "Kalinikta" (good night in Greek)
