Day 2: March 13, 2009
As you can see, everybody has now arrived in good shape!
The flight was in early so we headed straight in to our hotel to drop off the bags before taking the metro in to the center of town to the Louvre museum where we are now spending some time checking out the art work, starting of course with the Mona Lisa! Then we're going to walk along the Seine river as far as the famous Notre Dame cathedral before walking over to the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank for our crepe dinner! Perhaps we'll go down to the Eiffel tower tonight! I'm sending the first photos - lots more to come!
