    Get up close and personal with the many sea turtles, crocodiles and alligators that call the Everglades National Park home. (This is the only place in the world where ‘crocs’ and ‘gators’ exist side by side!) As the only subtropical preserve in North America, the region is populated with more than 15 federally threatened and endangered species. Covering roughly 1.5 million acres, the park is also well known for its rich bird life and both temperate and tropical plant communities.

    We suggest you keep a running tally of all the amazing creatures you discover on this thrilling airboat ride through the swamp. Manatee? Check. Dolphin? Check. Gators? Double check. And when you’re done, dine on gator appetizers and enjoy a walk through the Big Cypress Nature Preserve, where you’re sure to add many more checks to your list.
