Two ways to win…
#1. Wear your Explorica sunglasses
Submit shots of you and/or your friends sporting Explorica sunglasses. Entries will be judged on how creatively you get those glasses in the frame! And try to set the shot so that the Explorica logo is clearly in view. That will get you extra brownie points!
#2. Capture some cultural immersion
The second contest concerns immersion into the culture you’re touring. Perhaps you’ll snag a sweet candid of colleagues getting down with the natives. Or maybe you’ll get the opportunity to participate in a local custom. If so, don’t forget your camera! We’ll especially be looking for shots containing context clues that indicate where you are in the world.

First prize for each contest gets a $300 Amazon Gift Card! We’ll award the top three photographers in each contest Amazon prizes.

What we’re looking for…
- Color images only, please!
- High-resolution photos only
- If you have an iPhone, you should be all set
- Digital cameras should be capable of taking 3-megapixel shots (2048×1080 resolution, set to 300 dpi)
- Don’t just pose; capture action in front of those famous monuments
- A candid photo which shows you and your group experiencing something unique to the culture you’re visiting
- A photo of an authentic activity or situation shared by your group during your Explorica tour
- Cool people wearing the Explorica sunglasses!
