March 30, 2011  -  April 2, 2011

Hello Southwest Star Concept School Group, My name is Bob Konen and I will be your Tour Director for your New Orleans adventure. We are lucky enough to have a small group which will enable us to have more fun, get in and out of places quicker and the atmosphere of a close knit adventure family. Drink plenty of water, get a lot of sleep and be ready for an enjoyable action packed tour of New Orleans and the surrounding area. If you forget anything at home, I am sure we can find a replacement in New Orleans. Relax and enjoy your flight via Chicago to your Louisiana destination. I look forward to greeting you at the airport and kick off the tour to a jazzy start. See you soon. Regards, Bob Konen I met a tired but smiling group at the airport in New Orleans. After a 10 hour journey, they made it to their destination. After a nap and shower, we headed to the Garden district to view the pld mansions, Lafayette cementary, World War II museum, complete with a 4 D movie. We then headed off to an outdoor jazz festival for some music and atmoshere. Dinner was calling so we headed for a walk down Bourbon street to our Riverfront Restaurant. After surprising Renae with a birthday candle with southern bread pudding, we were ready to call it a night. We then called our driver Eddie to return us to our place of rest. Tomorrow will come soon.
