Hi Everyone! My name's Gwenn and I'll be your Tour Director for your upcoming trip - a week from today! I'm so excited to show you around these wonderful historic cities we'll be visiting. I hope you're all looking forward to learning about the early days of our country. It'll be a memorable trip, for sure! See you soon! 3/19/17 - Well everyone arrived safely and I was very impressed with the happy, upbeat attitudes everyone had, even having traveled such far distances and having started out SO early! Because the dinner location was going to close early, since it's Sunday, we had to hurry through our walking tour of Boston. We got to see a lot, but each stop was very short. We saw the Old South Meeting House, Corner Bookstore, the Irish Famine Memorial, Old City Hall, Boston Latin School marker, King's Chapel and Burying Ground, the Parker House, Old Granary Burying Ground, Park St. Church, Boston Common, and Boston Public Garden. Whew! And we saw it all in about an hour! For dinner, we went to Quincy Market, where everyone could make their own choice at various food stalls. There are also souvenir carts to do some shopping. After getting the chance to slow down, relax, and get some food in us, we decided to call it an early evening, so we headed for the hotel. Ahhhh.... Tomorrow, a duck boat tour, see the North End with Paul Revere's house, Old North Church, a visit to Salem, and a Ghost Tour to cap of the evening. 'Til tomorrow!
