Founded in Switzerland in 2001, Camaquito is an international charity that supports daycares, schools, hospitals, centers for people with disabilities and more in Cuba. With such a variety of projects, Camaquito offers more than enough opportunities for an educational exchange. Volunteer at one of organization’s many projects, then join local Camaquito volunteers for lunch in a private restaurant typical of the region. If you’re looking for a fun activity to get to know the people and culture of Camagüey, we can also arrange a soccer or kickball game with local students.
