A living history museum dedicated to telling the intertwined stories of the English Settlers and the Natives, <a title=\"Plimoth Plantation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.plimoth.org\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\">Plimoth Plantation<\/a> in Plymouth, MA, allows visitors a rich opportunity to explore the forced melding of two very distinct cultures.\u00a0 Historical interpreters are trained to immerse visitors in an authentic 17<sup>th<\/sup> century experience depicting day-to-day life and major events in the English colonists\u2019 lives.\u00a0 Questions are encouraged by the role-playing Plimoth staff members who are ready to explore what life was like during the time of settlement and the years to follow.\u00a0 Neighboring the English village is a re-creation of a <a title=\"Wampanoag Homesite\" href=\"http:\/\/www.plimoth.org\/what-see-do\/wampanoag-homesite\" target=\"_blank\">Wampanoag<\/a> home site that pays homage to the Natives of the era and their side of this monumental story in American history.\u00a0 Several miles down the road is the <a title=\"Mayflower II Plimoth Plantation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.plimoth.org\/what-see-do\/mayflower-ii\" target=\"_blank\">Mayflower II<\/a>, a replica of the original Mayflower that facilitated the historic arrival of the Pilgrims to the New World in 1620 as they landed at the famed Plymouth Rock.
