On the Sixtus Bridge in Rome

On the Sixtus Bridge in Rome

In Piazza Navona, Rome

In Piazza Colonna
Rome welcomes us with warm weather in a bright day. The landscape is framed by oleanders, acacias, bayleaves and mediterrenean pine trees. We realize being in Rome from the number of churches we see flanking the road and we are soon impressed by small cars, the huge amount of scooters and the cosy little shops and restaurants scatterd everywhere around. It is time to have our first pasta dish and we start with a specialty of Rome...the famous Amatriciana. Our italian meal continues with grilled chicken and potatoes and ends with a refreshing fruit salad.
