Hola,after a long journey, we finally got Madrid, the capital of Spain. Our Tour Director, Joaquin, was waiting for us at the airport, then we took the bus directly to our htl, where we had time to drop our luggage, refresh ourselves a bit because we went downtown, and guess how?? by public bus...First stop, for lunch, spanish sandwiches, " Bocadillos" umm yummy, once we recharged the batteries we went to see the Reina Sofia, the contemporanean and modern art museum, where we saw the Guernica of Picasso, his masterpiece, amazing. We kept walking till the main train station in town and guess what we saw there?? a beautiful tropical garden, right after, we took the subway to continued to the center, Puerta del Sol, where we saw the landmark of the city, the beard and the tree( el oso y el Madroño) and some free time for shopping.Going for dinner after that and then back to our htl to rest a bit because for today it has been more than enough......mañana mas y mejor..
