When we arrive in Nice we drive along the English Promenade, the boulvards, along the seacost, flanked by the fanciest and most luxurious hotels of the French Riviera. We then walk up to the belvedere on the old castle's hill overlooking the old city on one side and the harbour on the other side. Then we reach the Cathedral, the docks, the Royal Palace. It is tima for the first European icecream and the taste is delicious.
