It's been a long day today. After our long flight to Madrid, we arrived at the airport and there was Rolando to meet us. We drove to the hotel and after settling down we took a quick shower and we ready to go to downtown. We took the subway and got to Puerta del Sol, in the very heart of the city. Saw a few plaxces of interest...We then stopped for lunch. After that, we went to visit the Prado museum, one of the best art galleries in the whole wortld, which we all enjoyed so much. Even if tired,we decided to go and pay a short visit to the Reina Sofia arty gallery, just to center the attention on Picasso's Guernica and Dali's works...It was just awesome!!!
We then walked to the restaurant and had a very nice dinner. We then returned to the hotel for a well deserved restful night. Looking forward to seeing more of Madrid tomorrow.
