Summer in Paris ! With the blue skies also came the midsummer HEAT !! We survived .. An afternoon trip to Versailles took us the gardens of Marie Antoinette estate at Trianon : the shade of the old trees - some of which may have been the Queen’s confidants .. – provided a welcome relief .. Then we went back to Paris for an early dinner at a restaurant close to Notre Dame. Afterwards we took a short stroll in the area – how romantic !! but how tired we were too ! then everyone jumped into the subway, back to our hotel.
