Dale's group in Parliament Square

Group 282 in front of Westminster Abbey
Hi folks! Well, I think it's been a very succesful first day in London! It's been a bit long, and a bit tiring, but the group have already seen some of London, and indeed the worlds, most famous sights. The day obviously began with the two groups arrival to a very busy Heathrow Airport, early in the morning.
The groups gor the chance to meet eachother, and then managed to catch up on some sleep on the coach into London. We drove right in to the centre of the city, to Westminster, where amazingly, our hotel is located! Within alking distance of the magnificent Parliament Square lies the luxurious Jolly Hotel St Ermis - our home for the next five nights!
After getting some snacks nearby we all checked into our rooms and then I took Dale's group of students past the famous sights of Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square and then we met Ellen's kids from Brooklyn, who came the scenic route through the park, for dinner in Soho - for the English favourite, Fish 'n' Chips. Then the groups eyes became a lot heavier, and it was time to walk Elllens group 282 back to the hotel for a well deserved nights sleep!
