Hello!! I am Renata, your Tour Director in Rio. I was so happy that your flight arrived on time and by 11:00am you were landing, because we have a very busy day ahead!
After arrival we went straight onto a tour of the city. Everybody was a little tired, but as soon as we started seeing the sights everybody woke up! We went to to see first the Sambadrome, where the famous carnival parades take place. We also visited the modern Catholic Cathedral before going on to a BIIIIIIG typical Brazilian lunch at a barbecue restaurant where they serve meat sliced from big skewers. But the best was still to come: Sugar Loaf Mountain! We took cable cars to get to the top of this mountain made of solid rock. The views up there are amazing, and we even saw some monkeys! We returned to the hotel for our deserved rest, but there is still more! After dinner on the sea front we will go to watch a soccer match at the Maracana Stadium!
