HOLA!!! What a day! Everyone has made it safely to Madrid with all of their luggage in hand. The day has been long and full of sights, sounds and smells of Madrid. When we arrived to our hotel, we had a time for lunch and then set off to meet the city. We took the bus from in front of our hotel to the Paseo de Recoletos where we walked down a beautiful tree lined street to the Banco de España and by the famous Cibeles Fountain. Then we continued on to the Prado Museum where we saw works by Velazquez, Goya, El Greco, Murillo and more. Afterwards we were exhausted and so took a stroll up to Retiro Park where we relaxed in the shade for some time before we went for dinner near the Opera House. After dinner we had some time to stroll around the pedestrian center of Madrid before we made it back to our hotel at 10pm. Tomorrow we are looking forward to going to Toledo and visiting more of Madrid. Buenas noches!
