Candland Scotland

 

Well, everyone came in on time this morning in Glasgow airport, and even better, the sun is shining! We drove around the impressive West End of Scotland's largest city, which is both truly historical and very contemporary, and then had some time in and around George Square, with the Victorian City Chambers, the magnificent Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, and then around two of the main shopping streets in Glasgow, Argyle Street and Buchanan Street. Some food was consumered, and retail therapy was undertaken immediately! After this, we headed out of town into a lovely rural area, Moodiesburn, to our hotel for dinner and some much needed rest.
