We arrived to Madrid, very early, after a quick flight, Our Tour Director Gonzalo was there to greet us, we drovbe to our hotel, and after a short rest, we headed out to the city centre. The weather was manazing rain, Gonzalo took us first to see Plaza de Espa;a, with Cervantes monument and Don quijotes and Sancho, from there we walked to the old quater , what a beautiful area, small narrow streets, you can breath the history, we stopes at plaza mayor and then on to Puerta de Sol!! what history !! we had lunch and did some shopping, we meet Gonzalo again and he took us for dinner, in the centre, near the gradiouse Gran Via street, full of cinemas, musoicals and so much life. We returned to the hotel, after a full day, tired but wanting to discover more of this amazing city!!
