Luckily, we all arrived safe and sound and on time at Shannon, Ireland, after our flight over the pond to the 'old world.' Once we were all together, we set out for the famous Ballyunion Gulf Hotel where we'll be stayng two nights. Bill Clinton once visited the hotel on a golfing trip. On the way, we stopped at Adare, home of the impressive Adare Manor House, for lunch, and, further along the road, we stopped at Tralee, one of the many beautiful small towns in southwest Ireland. We especially liked the bright, pastel colors of the houses and buildings. Afterwards, we continued to our little beach resort village located on the bluffs, overlooking this side of the Atlantic.
