Hi mom!!
Well, here are some letters for you, I know you can't wait to know how my Spanish experience goes!!
Flight was reaaaaaally long, stopover in Zurich kind of ok, and then finally we got into Madrid. We found at the arrivals lounge the guy who is going to be taking us everywhere, Daniel, I think he said. So he took us to meet the bus, and get to the hotel, and guess what, he gave us just half an hour to meet at the lobby again, can you believe it!
So anyway, he took us to the metro, and hey, this metro system is pretty cool. Trains look nicer than the ones to find in NY city, remember when we were there, they are also slower though. Thing is they don't need to be faster that that, since distances are not that long. When we got out, we had to walk a beautiful boulevard dwon to get to the Prado museum.
Daniel told us the Prado Museum is considered to be the second most important museum in Europe, right after the Louvre Museum in Paris. By the way, he gave such a face when he said that.... anyway, I found it was pretty cool, full of big paintings, full of storied to find out into those paintings. It's just a pity we couldn't make it longer....
Actually I understand we didn't make it longer since everybody was soooo tired.... anyway, Daniel took us walking all the way up to the restaturant where dinner was waiting for us, man, they really like walking in this city!! Restaurant was nice, salad buffet style, and some pizza too. You know I lke that.
Well, I'm so tired myself, I will try to write some letters for you next days.
Remember to walk Bo out once in a while, he gets hectic if he stays at home the whole day!!
