It is my pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural edition of Explorations, our e-newsletter exclusively for teachers interested in educational travel. This monthly online publication is a milestone in our journey to offer an outstanding tour planning service, and is a symbol of our commitment to provide excellent customer service and easy student travel planning to all our teachers. 

This past year has been a great year for Explorica.  Because of your support, we expanded our worldwide presence even further, acquiring Keating Educational Tours, the leading educational travel company in Canada and a 40-year industry veteran.  We also opened new Explorica offices in Mérida, Mexico and Warsaw, Poland.  Our headquarters in Boston continues to grow; we have almost doubled our office space and brought in many new employees ready and eager to share their love of travel with you.

We also reached a new milestone in 2006: a total of over 100,000 students and teachers have chosen to travel with us throughout the world.  We continue to delight in their stories and experiences, and we are proud to have engendered a love of travel in so many students.

We could not have achieved these accomplishments without your loyalty and support.  We look forward to being able to share our future plans and accomplishments with you, and to showcase the outstanding teachers, Tour Directors, and others who make Explorica stronger, in each edition of Explorations.
